I just got my block.. finally!!
I already had the head and tranny. So tomorrow I am calling JE to order my 9.5:1 standard bore pistons. So hopefully within the next 3 weeks (JE says it takes 2 weeks to custom make the pistons) my project will be completed! YIPEEEE!! But my real reason for posting today is the following. I need a phone number or link to a place where I can find an aluminum premolded dash, fiberglass doors and hatch, and lexan or equivelant windows. So far my civic cx wieghs in at 1865 w/ stock motor but that is w/o putting a saw to it YET!! Although my goal is to weigh in at 1900 w/o driver but w/ the b18c & supercharger. But most important for now is the dash.. HELP!!!

I could use one too...
Let me know where if you find one. I have a '93 CX H/B.
MMR has one piece front ends, fiberglass doors, etc.. Percy's has the best Lexan for the car...
DO NOT buy anything from Don Moody (Madmood motorsports)... he has had my $460.00 for a pair of doors for a year now... and I don't have shit. He is a crook.

Hey JRCivic hit it right on the nose....the MB stuff is top notch...but, I dont think you will find a pre-fab dash...have you thought of a roll cage yet??...get that installed now and have them fab you up a custom dash that will go with it...with that little weight with that power I would think you would be fast enough to warrant a cage to be installed

ARRRRGH!!! Dammit, called JE today to try and order the pistons.. The tech that is building the motor told me to order standard bore and try and see if the top piston rings could be moved down a little. I thought to myself.. no problem right?? WRONG!! I called JE and they stock 9.0:1 10.0:1 and 12.0:1 but anything other than that needs to be made custom. So I thought no problem if they have the others already made I just tell them what compression ratio I need and vola.. Now I find out I need to know exactly how much cc in a stock b18c1 head and exact specs of the cylinder bore. I called JG and javier wont be in for a couple of days.. can anyone answer that question. Is the cylinder bore stock w/ 81mm or 81.5mm?? My other problem.. I spoke w/ Jerry at JE and he told me they have a 9.7:1 piston part#176449, but then I call back a few hours later and am told no.. that is a 10.0:1. I don't mind going w/ 9.7 but overall I think if it is indeed 10.0, I would be limiting myself to boost levels. What do you guys think.. Jim how much hp do you think I would lose sticking w/ 9.0:1 instead of 9.5:1 boosting 10 psi?? Good thing about going w/ the 9.0:1 would be they would be safer (don't have engine management yet), cheeper (but I am not looking for an easy way out), would ship immediately
, would be more boost friendly some day in the future if I decide to go turbo. I need some input on this guys.. I am about to drop about $1000.00+ in the bottom end.
What I want to do.. To begin w/ my setup will be 320 venom injectors, 8psi pulley (but will probably be seeing 10psi), I also would like to expierment w/ a crv crank pulley I have. Cartech FMU, MSD 6a, dc 4-2-1, btc, modified cai. Also will play around w/ a small wet shot of NOS.
In the summer, I would look into buying a jg/edelbrock head that they will hopefully be releasing w/ cams w/ redline @9K... if that is not out yet.. hopefully a zdyne engine management for obd1 will be. then hopefully by this time next year if my poor little motor has survived the abuse.. Turbo (will definately have stand alone engine management before this happens)
With all this in mind.. should I go w/ the 9.0:1, 9.5:1, or the 9.7:1/10.0:1 HELP!!!!
